I love to cook! Having grown up on delicious but not so healthy southern cooking, I continually seek to educate myself about healthy meal alternatives. I cannot bake a thing to save my life, but instead am great at creating interesting dishes on the spot using what I have on hand. I prefer only fresh ingredients, no sugar, low salt, and low-carb cooking. That being said my secret guilty pleasure is KFC!
When my recipes mention a fruit or vegetable, I mean fresh from the produce section or farmer's market, unless otherwise noted. The same goes for meat, fish, and poultry. My recipes make enough for two people, therefore if you are cooking for a family you may want to increase ingredient amounts.
The recipes I include here are those I myself cook and that I want to share with others. I have no formal culinary training, but I love to cook and believe cooking should be easy and affordable. I hope you enjoy trying out my recipes, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Put cereal in bowl, sprinkle Splenda (I like mine sweet,so I put 2 sm. packets), and then add blueberries and thinly sliced banana. Pour milk over and enjoy!
