Teams finalized for ECS season four finals—defending champion SK Video gaming to miss out

The fourth installment from the Esports Championship Series league ended last night, and the eight opportunities for the offline finals were decided right after two months of competitors.

Cloud9, OpTic Video gaming, Team Liquid, as well as Luminosity Gaming completed in the top four for North America. Luminosity Gaming’s win over Renegades in round thirty of Cache last night put them ahead of B razil counterpart SK Video gaming and North American juggernaut Team Liquid, essentially removing SK from the qualification pool with a fifth place complete.

This will be the first time that SK will miss a big CS: PROCEED league finals within 2017—but them not really qualifying is probably due in part for their hectic event routine in the buy csgoskins past two months.

For your European region, Fnatic, FaZe Clan, Mousesports, and Astralis placed first through fourth in the 10-team area. Astralis was able to reach third place along with Jacob “pimp” Winneche standing in, despite celebrity AWPer Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz’s medical keep. Their final 2 wins over GODSENT put them ahead of recent IEM Oakland winners Ninjas in Pyjamas—who placed fifth within the region—by a twenty three round differential.

The base two teams for every regional standings, but will be sent to the ECS Promotion League to compete for any returning CSGO M4A4 Skins slot in the main League. GODSENT as well as Heroic were relegated for the European area, while Ghost Video gaming and Immortals were demoted in North America. Immortals forfeited their own entire season due to the organization’s complete roster revamp.

The ECS season four finals will play out from Dec. 15 to 17 in Barbados, Mexico, hosting a good eight-team competition for any $750, 000 reward pool.
